Our compass acts as our moral guide and direction giver.  Safeguarding needs to permeate every aspect of everything we do and our Christian Values should light our path so that our decisions and relationships are firmly rooted in Christian ideology.  Children need not to be disadvantaged by their attendance and behaviour, or the behaviour of others, by having the highest expectations of them.  We need to be knowledgeable about who is vulnerable and what barriers there are to their success.  Interventions, both academic and pastoral, need to be focused, measurable and impactful.
