Safeguarding in our school:

 

 

It is the fundamental right of all children to be safe and our school fully recognises the contribution it can make to protect children and support pupils in school.  Our aim is to safeguard and promote our pupils’ welfare, safety and health by fostering an honest, open, caring and supportive climate.  The pupils’ welfare is of paramount importance.

 

 

We train all staff and governors annually to ensure that all adults who work with children will be skilled to support them fully.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.  

If you need to report the abuse or neglect of a child:

 

Phone 999 if a crime is being committed or if a child is in immediate danger.

 

 

Contact Leicestershire Police on 101 if you think a crime has been committed but there is no immediate danger.

 

 

Contact Leicestershire’s First Response Children’s Duty Team if you think a child is being:

 

Neglected

Physically abused

Sexually abused
